- Daniel Returns, and More Interesting Factoids (Yay!) contains a references to Professor Calculus, a character in the Belgian Comic books, "The Adventures of Tintin."
- Proving Science Wrong! contains a reference to "The Tolstoy Principle" which is actually called The Anna Karenina Principle, and is a reference to Jared Diamond's "Guns, Germs and Steel."
- Still At Daniel's contains a references to the book Gulliver's Travels.
- Happy Thanksgiving contains a reference to Oliver Twist.
- Happy Thanksgiving, The Cowboy, and Quitting The Sauce contain references to Bruce Wayne (Batman's secret identity).
