Transcript

(Gavin is walking down the street as Lauren films.)

Lauren: Gavin, what we doing? Why won't you tell me where we're going?

Gavin: I finally realize who's behind all this.

Lauren: Gavin what are you talking about?

Gavin: I can't believe I didn't realize it sooner.

Lauren: Oh, Gavin!

Gavin: Look. Th-the blogs, alright? I me-I mean th-th-the show. I-it's on Bebo, right? So she's got to go through Bebo to get it on there, y-you see?

Lauren: Oh, Gavin please. I’m worried about you.

Gavin: So let's-let's go talk to Bebo.

Lauren: What you mean talk to Bebo?

Gavin: We’re gonna go see the head honcho. We’re gonna pay a visit to Joanna Shields.

Lauren: Who?

Gavin: Joanna Shields. She’s the CEO of Bebo.

Lauren: Oh, for God’s sake.

Gavin: I-I never realized before how deep this conspiracy went, but, I mean, it all seems so obvious now.

Lauren: I really think you just need to get some sleep. And when was the last time you had a shower?

Gavin: Look, Kate- Kate was banging on about communicating through Bebo all the time, you see? Sh-sh-She was using us make us put all our videos on Bebo, you see? Th-they were getting a free TV show out of our lives! It’s madness!

Lauren: Gavin, this is madness. You’ve lost it!

Gavin: On the contrary, my girl, I am through the looking glass now. I am seeing clearly for the first time ever!

Lauren: Right, well, whatever. What are we doing now?

Gavin: Well... well this is her, so, we just got to go and talk to her.

Lauren: Gav you can’t just go and talk-

Gavin: No, I probably can’t, but-but you can.

Lauren: What? Why would she talk to me?

Gavin: Uh, well, uh, just go up to her and tell her that, uh, that you want to, uh, audition for Sofia’s Diary.

Lauren: Right, and how exactly is that gonna help?

Gavin: 'Cause, 'cause, 'cause then... 'cause then you’ll go on to ask her about Kate a-and the other show on Bebo.

Lauren: And why would she tell me anything?

Gavin: Well-

Lauren: Even if you are right, why would she tell me?

Gavin: I dunn- because you'll catch her off guard! Y'know? A-a-and you'll ask her about Kate and maybe she'll slip up or something.

Lauren: Oh...

Gavin: Come on.

(Cut to Gavin walking down a street approaching Joanna Shields. He holds up a photograph for comparison.)

Gavin: That's her! Quick, go, go, go, say something! Gimme the camera!

(Gavin takes the camera.)

Gavin: Go! Go!

(Lauren runs up to Joanna Shields)

Lauren: 'Scuse me?

Joanna Shields: Can I help you?

Lauren: Yes! Um... d'you have the time, please?

Gavin: What?

(Joanna checks her watch and tells Lauren the time. Lauren thanks her and runs back to Gavin. Joanna goes into a building.)

Gavin: What the hell was that?

Lauren: Come on, it was a stupid idea anyway.

Gavin: Why didn't you ask her?

Lauren: You can't just go around harassing people 'cause you've gone mad! She was nice! She just runs a company.

Gavin: How can you be so blind? You're in on it, aren't you?

Lauren: There's nothing to be in on! Look, she just runs Bebo. The people you wanna be worrying about is that Michelle Clore and them bastards from the Order. They're the evil ones! Or have you forgotten everything that's happened?

Gavin: Yes!

(Gavin gives Lauren the camera.)

Gavin: Yes! Yes! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes! I've- You're so right! You're so right! We... Well, let's go and talk to them then! Come on!

(Gavin runs down the street. Lauren glances at the camera then follows. Cut to outside Michelle Clore's house. Gavin points at the house.)

Gavin: There it is.

Lauren: How do we even know she's here?

Gavin: She's here. You trust me; it's all in the script.

(Lauren checks her watch.)

Lauren: Is she even in this country?

Gavin: She'll be here, alright? Trust me.

(Lauren checks her watch again. A black car shows up.)

Gavin: Here they are. I told you. Don't let them see you, don't let them see you.

(The car stops and a Michelle's Shadow gets out. Gavin gasps.)

Gavin: Hide. Go go go go!

(Gavin and Lauren duck behind a line of motorbikes, emerging behind a black van as Michelle Clore steps onto the pavement and folds her arms, followed by the Shadow.)

Michelle: Hello, Gavin. What are you doing here? This is a flagrant violation of our New Year's agreement.

Gavin: It's not according to the script, you mean! Yeah, now where is she?

Michelle: Oh, you will have to be more specific, I'm afraid.

Gavin: Kate. Where is she? Yeah, that's right; I know! It's time for all this bullshit to end!

Lauren: Gavin, I really don't think-

(Michelle notices Lauren and walks toward her.)

Michelle: Ah, the young video artist speaks! I'm glad to see you, Lauren.

Lauren: Yeah? Well, the feeling isn't mutual.

Michelle: Oh, I've been watching your videos. You've got talent.

Lauren: Don't you dare!

(Lauren slaps Michelle.)

Lauren: I'm not Kate, all right?

(The Shadow advances, but Michelle holds him back.)

Michelle: Whoah! It's OK.

Lauren: I'm not gonna to be seduced by some old lezzer!

Gavin: Come on, let's get out of here. Go!
