Rachel's landlord is an unseen character in Redearth88. He rents Rachel her place in Los Angeles at a reduced rate in exchange for Rachel's services as a dog walker. However, Rachel still has trouble paying the decreased rent and needs a roommate in order to be able to afford the cost of living there. After her previous tenant's father stopped paying rent, Rachel needed to find someone else to live in her apartment. Her landlord gave her a week to find somebody.
