The Creators have stated that one goal of the lonelygirl15 video series was to include fan interaction. Because of the nature of the project, and the high-level of media attention received, a number of Lonelygirl15 fans have themselves become notable. Many fans have written or blogged about lonelygirl15 or created fan videos of their own. Most of these fans were active at the phorum and The Children of Anchor Cove as they hunted for Bree.
