Since then, Jai went on to receive his GSCE's, his A-levels, and a diploma in Personal Training.  After graduating from college, Jai had a "sudden urge" to try acting and took a gap-year to pursue it. He went to a random audition, and much to his surpise, he was cast for the part. Since that time he was able to get an agent and became involved in the theater productions of ''Romeo & Juliet,'' ''Onenite.com,'' ''Totally Practically Naked,'' ''Taken In,'' ''Human,'' ''Laters,'' and ''Gun-Play.'' He also took part in a short film called ''Connexions,'' which has been screened at small cinemas in London.

He then heard about the audition for KateModern through a friend named Pooja Shah. He had not heard of LG15 before that time, but looked into lonelygirl15 and was suprised and intrigued by what he saw. He liked the idea of using the web to tell a story, because he considers himself an "internet man." He does online banking, e-mailing, MSNing, listens to music online, and has various accounts with differnet social networking sites.

Jai also enjoys scriptwriting, and has written his own play about the internet, which he hopes to get produced. If he weren't working in entertainment, Jai says that he would love to run his own business, but only if it were social.  He says that even though he is bald, he would love to run his own barber shop.  Jai has a great fondness for food, particularly that of the Thai or Mediterranean variety.  He gets inspiration from anyone ambitious or talented with whom he has worked.
